Ouranoupoli

Ouranoupoli liegt auf der Halbinsel Chalkidiki in Griechenland.
Es ist die Grenzstadt zur autonomen Mönchsrepublik Athos.
Der Ort ist recht klein und hat nur knapp 1000 Einwohner, ist allerdings aufgrund zur Nähe des Heiligen Bergs Anziehungspunkt für Touristen und Pilgerer.

Ouranoupoli is situated on the Halkidiki peninsula in Greece.
It is the border town of autonomous Mount Athos.
The place is quite small and only has about 1000 inhabitants, but is due to the closeness of the Holy Mountain attraction for tourists and pilgrims.
